MESSAGE FROM OLADE’S EXECUTVIE SECRETARY

One of the pillars of OLADE's work is continuous capacity building. The region has a lot of potential in energy resources, therefore it is a fundamental role of OLADE to support professionals at the regional level so that they know how to face new challenges in a sector as dynamic as the energy sector. CapevLAC is our main tool to address this need.

Andrés Rebolledo,

Modalities

It is an educational modality that is conducted entirely through online platforms. Students can access learning content, carry out activities and participate in virtual interactions from anywhere with an internet connection, without the need to physically attend a classroom.

E-Learning

Similar to e-learning, virtual education refers to academic programs that are delivered mostly or entirely online. Virtual courses may include live classes, interactive activities, and educational resources accessible through the Internet, facilitating interaction between students and teachers remotely.

Virtual

Also known as blended learning, it combines elements of face-to-face and online learning. Students occasionally attend face-to-face classes while the rest of the course is conducted online. This modality offers flexibility to combine direct interaction with the benefits of distance learning.

Blended

A diploma is a higher education program that focuses on a specific area of knowledge. It is usually shorter than a bachelor's or master's degree, and is designed to provide practical skills and specialized knowledge in a particular field.

Diploma Course

A postgraduate academic degree that delves deeper into a specific area of knowledge. Master's programs usually require a longer duration than a diploma and are designed to develop advanced skills, research and critical analysis in a given field.

Master’s Program

This support refers to initiatives or programs aimed at providing specific assistance or resources to countries. They may include grants, international collaborations, development projects or training programs to strengthen local capacities and promote sustainable growth in these countries.
