The Permanent Secretariat of the Latin American Energy Organization (Olade), through Energy Training for Latin America and the Caribbean (capevLAC), promotes knowledge generation and the exchange of experiences to support the development of sectoral policies in its Member Countries.
The objective of capevLAC is to strengthen the technical capacities at the public and private levels in the region, through high-quality modular training.
As part of capevLAC, Olade is leading the project “Improving, Increasing and Facilitating Access to Education and Training in Renewable Energy in Latin America” (ETRELA), under the International Climate Protection Initiative (IKI), which is financially supported by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. ETRELA’s purpose is to enhance educational systems in renewable energy to create capacities in the countries and thus generate new job opportunities in the region.
Olade invites the community of the energy sector to interact in capevLAC to build technical, autonomous and permanent teams in the planning institutions of the Member Countries._
